Mentor Iowa recently received the largest corporate check from QuikTrip in our 39 year history!
On Saturday, September 28th QuikTrip hosted their annual charity golf outing where Mentor Iowa was selected as their charity of choice. As a result of their efforts, a check was presented to Mentor Iowa in the amount of $22,297.31! This donation is the largest corporate donation in the history of Mentor Iowa!
Many thanks to everyone who played golf, purchased raffle tickets, mulligans and other fun contests throughout the day!
We would like to recognize Tom Gehrke, Ken Pierce, Gary Farmer, Mark Sullivan, Brock Thornton, Kim Stewart, Mary Ann Thorsheim and all of the QuikTrip staff who helped make this the largest corporate donation ever received by Mentor Iowa!
QuikTrip is a huge champion for Mentor Iowa. They also provide grant funds to Mentor Iowa as well as in store promotions to raise additional funds for the youth we serve. QuikTrip staff also serve on the Board of Directors for Mentor Iowa and also volunteer at many community events where our program has a presence. QuikTrip definitely supports our community by being an active participant in many ways with Mentor Iowa!
Pictured below is Ken Pierce with QuikTrip presenting the check to Mentor Iowa Executive Director, Marty Lester. Additional pictures are from the great day out on the golf course from the QuikTrip charity golf outing.
